Dr. Yamanaka is a General Practitioner attends to adult medical problems except for surgical and gynecological conditions. He was graduated from Juntendo University in 1980, and trained as a cardiologist for 25 years. After coming back from Cleveland Clinic in Ohio,U.S., he worked for the International Goodwill Hospital in Yokohama as a chief cardiologist.
In 2004, he opened Paula’s Clinic with seeking to provide quality medical care especially for old people who do not have family and are obliged to live alone on welfare in this area.

Other than OPD, he works as a visiting doctor.
With according to the principle, more than 300 patients in this area have been taken care at their end of lives at their own beds.
